Smoked Salmon Rolls with Cream Cheese

I am into appetizers. I’m referring to the tiny, almost identical-looking ones. All of them are delicious, I don’t know how they do it, but I love them all. I could quickly eat only appetizers and then jump to dessert.

New Year’s Eve is an opportunity to feast on appetizers. I prepare many different appetizers with Mum and believe New Year’s Eve will be better without them. I love food.

Although it’s not New Year’s Eve, we are more than halfway there. These salmon rolls can be enjoyed anytime.

Method:

I add dill from Mum’s garden to the cream cheese. But you can also buy it with greens in the grocery store.

Add the chopped dill to the cream cheese. Combine them and season with salt.

Spread the cream cheese onto pita bread. Leave about a centimeter of cheese at the edge.

Sprinkle some lemon zest over the cream cheese.

Add the smoked salmon. As much as you can. You can chop the salmon to cover the pita bread evenly.

A few drops of lemon juice can be added to the salmon.

Make pita bread by rolling it and cutting rolls from it. They should be approximately two centimeters in thickness. Sprinkle some smoked paprika on the rolls to add flavor and flair.

Both perfectionists and busy people can use this recipe.

You can buy the ingredients in the grocery store and put them together yourself, or make your cream cheese with herbs and pita bread. It is always better to have control over the ingredients.

As I already said, it’s not New-Year’s-Eve-exclusive. Smoked salmon rolls are great for unexpected guests or lazy people who want to assemble something.

If you have all the ingredients, they take less than 10 minutes to make. Add some smoked paprika to the mixture and some dill, and you’ll have fancy and delicious appetizers that won’t make your heart race in the kitchen.

Oh, and I forgot to mention. These smoked salmon rolls add a fancy snack to your lunch bag.
