This The 2010 Armor All Gold Coast 600 marks the 20th anniversary on the Queensland motorsport carnival, but this year will be unlike any other. First appearing on the Australian motorsport calendar in 1991 as an IndyCar event, the Gold Coast Street Circuit is a high speed, concrete-lined thrill ride that has been modified in a new-look 2010 format.

The 2010 Armor All Gold Coast 600 will be the third endurance event for the 2010 V8 Supercar Championship Series, with each team required to feature one international driver in its
stable, attracting 18 high-profile racers from abroad to
Gold Coast this October. This initiative retains the event’s
international flavour; a key characteristic over its past two
decades.

Also, the 2010 event will be the first promoted by V8 Supercar Events. Led by the strongest management group in the event’s history, V8 Supercar Events are building a framework for a fresh and spectacular motorsport festival for October 22-24, 2010.
