Get a boost of energy with the Yellow Smoothie

My breakfast is usually a smoothie as the weather warms up. It’s hot in summer here, so cooking isn’t an option.

Most likely, you’ve seen the rainbow smoothies. Green is the most popular. Since Spring is coming late, I wanted to share a yellow smoothie that can boost your energy levels.

I highly recommend adding water to the Smoothie, which is very concentrated.

Add water to make two large jars for two to three people.

Vitamin C is high in citrus fruits like lemons and oranges. Vitamin C can be used to improve your immune system.

This Smoothie’s stars are ginger and turmeric!

Turmeric

Although turmeric may seem new, Indians have used it for over 400 years. This plant is loved by Indians for its rich flavor and vibrant color. These are just a few of the many benefits it offers:

Brain functions are improved

It acts as an antioxidant

Anti-inflammatory properties

Can lower your risk of developing heart disease

Aging may be delayed

Turmeric may also benefit arthritis, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, and depression. Has more information about the benefits of turmeric.

Ginger

You may have noticed similarities between ginger and turmeric: they are yellow-orange and highly spicy.

They are related because they both come from the same family, Zingiberaceae.

These are just a few of the many benefits that ginger has to offer:

It can aid in digestion and may help with “stomach problems.”

can help relieve menstrual pain

and boosts the immune system

Also, it has anti-inflammatory properties that can help ease muscle pain.

Ginger oil can be used to prevent insect bites.

The rich flavors of turmeric and ginger will energize you. The banana brings out the smooth, pleasant taste of a smoothie.

Make it easy

Take the lemon and orange juices.

Blend the liquid, chopped banana, and chunk of ginger in a blender. Blend all ingredients for 30 seconds or until smooth.

Be careful! Ginger and turmeric can be very spicy.

Reduce the amount of turmeric and ginger if you don’t like spicy foods. People with sensitive stomachs should not eat spices. It is safer to skip the turmeric altogether and opt for a centimeter.

If you feel the Smoothie is too sweet, add honey or dilute it with water if it seems too concentrated.

Do you want it to be more nutritious?

This Smoothie would be a great side dish to my breakfast. It is too spicy for me to enjoy it as it stands.

You can also add a banana, oats, or protein powder to make it more nutritious. You will feel full until lunch.
